(tel. 96 577 0047) The 'menu del dia' is available in the evenings: E10,50 for three courses including half a bottle of wine, bread and salsa. This is probably the best value for money on the coast, the portions are generous and the quality is excellent. Their 'a la carte' menu is also exceptional. (click on link above for full a la carte menu) It is advisable to book a table. To get to El Faro take the road to Cabo de la Nao from the Javea Arenal and keep on it for about 6kms. Balcon al Mar is signed in metal letters on a stone wall on the left, to the right is a refuse area and the road to the left is split with a lamp-post in the middle. Turn left and a few meters up on the left is El Faro restaurant.

Café del Mar is the last establishment on the left as you face the sea. 2. If coming from Calpe this roundabout is about 9 km along the coast road from the roundabout next to the big Mercadona at the north end of Calpe coast as you head out towards Fustera.
